They are watching you. The way you act. The things you say.
They are taking it all in and learning how to be by watching the adults around them
and the background. . .
One day, while walking down main street hudson, there was a lot of yelling coming from a front stoop of an apartment building. It was coming from a woman, a mother, and directed into a phone. The recipient on the other end of the phone is presumed to be the father of at least one of the children playing and riding bikes on the sidewalk. The yelling went on for hours. . . and hours. it became so hard to listen to, and sad that the children, hers and others just having to pass by were being subjected to this woman's actions. It really made it conscious to me how children who are innocent to begin with, can slowly change over years to be like what they see around them. It made me sad that more people aren't conscious of how they act on a daily basis.
We want children to know their rights.
