FACES OF THE FRENCH-SPEAKING WORLD

The Global Action “Faces of the French-Speaking World” (Les visages de la Francophonie) will kick-off in the U.S. at L’Alliance New York's annual Bastille Day celebration on Sunday, July 14. From 12pm to 5pm, New Yorkers can have their photo taken in the Inside Out Photobooth truck and paste their portraits on Madison Ave to participate in a city-block long mural that will be on display all day.

The world-wide network of Alliances Française will be participating in the Action “Faces of the French-Speaking World” (Les visages de la Francophonie). By capturing the portraits of people in different cities and countries, the Action will highlight the diversity of the French speaking community. Each Alliance Française will create their own unique community installation, and together, will create a giant mosaic that celebrates the people who make up our global, multicultural community.
