ACT THE THOUGHT

"Act The Thought" stands as a beacon of truth and democracy in the face of the misinformation pandemic. Inspired by the urgent call to action highlighted by the World Economic Forum in its Risk Report, the intervention is dedicated to nurturing critical dialogue and advancing information literacy.

The Inside Out Photobooth truck will be stationed outside of Livraria Lello bookstore in Porto’s city center on June 15th. Everyone is invited to take their portrait and reflect on information literacy. The Action encourages critical thinking and brings the community together in pursuit of truth.

The portraits will later be installed at the Monastery of Leça do Balio and visible as part of the "Act the Thought" exhibition starting June 22nd.

"Act The Thought" serves as a unifying force, seamlessly intertwining the voices of renowned figures silenced by deception with those of anonymous participants. This symbiosis symbolizes the collective determination to confront misinformation, foster informed discourse, and uphold democratic values. The artistic intervention will promote tools to help individuals navigate the complexities of the digital era.
