"WE DO" -- City of Wilton Manors and the Wilton Manors Gallery/Stonewall National Museum and Archives
To commemorate both Broward 100 and Florida’s historic decision to honor marriage equality, on Saturday, February 14, 2015, Valentine's Day, the City of Wilton Manors and Broward 100 - Celebrating the Art of Community, held marriage ceremonies for 50 couples at Wilton Manors City Hall.
The "We Do" Inside Out installation celebrates the arrival of marriage equality through the newlyweds in these touching black and white portraits. The images from the "We Do" ceremonies are being displayed at the Stonewall National Museum & Archives Gallery in Wilton Manors.
Wilton Manors is one of 31 cities in Broward County, Fla. Broward County was incorporated in 1915 and is currently on a year-long journey celebrating 100 years of history through the arts and culture of its residents.
