Last week, our Photobooth truck took more than 400 portraits in Turin, Italy, covering the Piazza San Carlo with expressive faces!
Inside Out Torino spread awareness of the millions of refugees around the world – an issue explored in JR's "Déplacé∙e∙s" exhibition at the Galleria d'Italia. For two days, our photobooth parked outside Piazza San Carlo where hundreds of participants lined up outside the truck to take their portrait!

After the activation, the plaza leading into the gallery was completely covered with portraits, creating a powerful visual of the Torino community in conversation with JR’s installation of a refugee child’s eye at the gallery entrance.
