Portraits Of Conservation

The Inside Out Photobooth Truck is hitting the road across the United States—shining a spotlight on the faces that power American agriculture, from South Dakota’s heartland to the halls of Congress. Through this Action, farmers, ranchers, and rural community members are invited to step into the booth, have their portrait taken, and become part of a monumental public art installation that calls on our nation’s leaders to protect conservation funding.

Each portrait in this installation tells the story of a steward—someone working the land, caring for the soil, feeding their community, and safeguarding a future for the next generation. The final artwork will travel to Capitol Hill, presenting these stories in a powerful, collective display that highlights what’s at stake and celebrates the producers making conservation work.
