These are visitors to our August 2019 First Saturday, which celebrated Carribean culture, a cornerstone of our Crown Heights community. The portraits were photographed, printed, and wheatpasted as part of Inside Out, a global participatory art project initiated by French artist JR that invites people to share large-format self-portraits. Inside Out is a platform for individuals and communities to share untold stories. What stories do you imagine are being told here?
