We decided to take portraits of a student from each grade Kindergarten through 12th grade (showing how universal our idea was age-wise) and use words painted on their foreheads to spell out two different sentences: “We can change the world” and “We will change the world” in a way where each student would have one word written on their face and when the pictures were put up side-by-side in a line, you could read the two sentences. These portraits can currently be viewed in three locations, two inside Graded School and one outside the walls of the school facing Avenida Giovanni Gronchi. This project was a new, enlightening experience for all of the members in the class and gave us a very good opportunity to display our photographic work to a wider, public audience, giving us some exposure.
