For over seven years, Haiti has been living through a dark night marked by instability and uncertainty. Yet, amidst the chaos, life goes on. This project will reveal the faces of Haitian citizens: mothers, students, workers, and others who refuse to let violence define their future. These portraits are a silent but powerful reminder: behind every statistic, there is a human being yearning for peace and dignity. We are still standing.
This action brings together different generations to counter the violence of everyday life with the strength of faces. It is a collective affirmation of our right to live in peace. Without political slogans, without branding, just the raw humanity of those who carry Haiti on their shoulders every day.
Faced with the social and political fragmentation tearing Haiti apart, we choose unity. 'Faces of Hope / Figi Lespwa' is a mosaic of ordinary citizens united by an extraordinary desire for tranquility. By displaying our portraits in public spaces, we reclaim our streets not as places of fear, but as spaces for living, sharing and hope for the future generation.
