The project 'unheard' explores 5 urban and rural cities of Sri Lanka, focusing on women , minorities, children and the marginalised , with the intention of surfacing stories of their day to day life through their images to the broader community. Our project team will visit the 5 cities that are scattered around the island ( Colombo, Jaffna, Galle, Kandy, Anuradhapura) and explore the communities, selecting the people , stories and images that will resonate across the cultural, ethnic and gender barriers that they live in. The Images will be showcased in October 2018 at the Independence Square in Colombo . This Project will be managed by the Khemadasa Foundation which is a non for profit organization which was established to provide free education in music and arts to the underprivileged youth of Sri Lanka.
