SEPTEMBER 2024: We are looking for people who live, study or work in the Valdespartera neighbourhood of Zaragoza to be photographed for the ‘Somos Zaragoza’ project. Each person will be photographed in a photography studio in Valdespartera and will have the opportunity to record an audio to accompany their portrait, sharing something about their life and the neighbourhood. With this action we want to celebrate the stories and faces of the Valdespartera neighbourhood and make it known to the rest of the city of Zaragoza.

You will be part of this global Inside Out action that will be displayed in the streets of Valdespartera with a community meal to celebrate and at the Joaquín Roncal Centre in November 2024.

Zaragoza is a city with multiple neighborhoods, nationalities and we want to make the Valdespartera neighborhood, or the cinema neighborhood, visible, its population, stories, voices and create a social fabric not only between neighbors but also make it known in the city center... Because coexistence is looking at the other, listening to the other, knowing the other, without prejudice and from a healthier place, from the heart. Coexistence is solidarity, it is community. Their voices and their faces are what make the Valdespartera neighborhood what it is.
