What do we stand for?
Rural Revival focuses on working for the revitalization of rural areas. We aim to contribute to the transformation that rural areas need, providing solutions to the existence of depopulated areas, with less and less activity and fewer support networks.
Specifically in Spain, 48% of current municipalities have a population density of fewer than 12.5 inhabitants per square kilometer, a threshold above which the European Union considers density to below.
In contrast, the rural areas offer endless possibilities and a better quality of life, which has been demonstrated after the crisis resulting from Covid-19.
Who does this Action represent?
The community of Anceu Coliving is an international network of digital nomad professionals who want to create an impact in the rural environment with the help of rural and urban communities, in order to create a rural-urban bridge to work and experiencing opportunities.
Why is this Action important for you?
Because we want to establish a dialog between rural and urban. To bring awareness of the reality of rural areas that can create sustainable connections with urban areas.
What is the Goal?
With this concept, we want to promote our initiative, to create alliances with other projects throughout Europe and help other rural areas to do the same, to make visible what we do, and inspire other people to come and see and do the same.
What do you hope to accomplish through your Action?
To bring awareness on the depopulation of Rural Areas and show people the possibilities of cowork and colive, building sustainable connection between rural and urban places.
