Sites build subjectivities that can stigmatize the people who live in them. If you are in a hospital you are a patient, in a trade you are a customer, in an art center you are a spectator.
The mental health center Pere Mata in Amposta and the Art Centre of Terres de l'Ebre, Lo Pati, are next to each other and share architectural and constructive features on the facade that give them a very similar appearance. The apparent confusion between the two buildings is the pretext for establishing a dialogue between people who frequent one and the other building. From one side of the facade, a whole series of people "mosmirem" (“welookateachother” and we call on you to look at us. The people portrayed can be, or have been, at some time, patients, nurses, artists, spectators, curators ... definitely inhabitants of one of the two places. We can not know from which one because their location on the facade does not necessarily correspond to its origin. As well as the similarity of the facades, the impossibility of identifying the people portrayed with one of the two places blur the barriers. This allows us to look at people in all their complexity, beyond the simplification to which they are subjected to the label of belonging or temporarily inhabiting a place.
