The "Living Stones" project is run by young Christians from the parish of Scherzingen-Bottighofen. We are resolutely cosmopolitan, advocate for the human rights of all people, and are committed to fighting discrimination of any kind. We stand for a diverse, cosmopolitan, democracy-friendly, and peace-promoting church.
The project name “Living Stones” is taken from the Bible. It means that the church is represented worldwide less by buildings than by people who bring the church to life. Currently, 12 young people aged 15 are preparing for their confirmation in June 2026. They will implement the project. The canton of Thurgau in particular is known for its multicultural population. Living together across the boundaries of language, culture, and religion has been practiced here for many decades. This also applies, of course, to the Protestant Reformed Church.
