The community of United World College of East Africa (Arusha) believes that ALL girls and young women should have the right to equal and high-quality education. Empowering girls enables all Tanzanian children to be positive change-makers, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to carry Tanzania into an exciting and progressive future.

As part of our Action, we want to raise awareness of the Committee on the Rights of the Child's suggested actions that could help make education more accessible for girls:
--make education an official human right in the constitution;
--officially implement the ban on child marriage;
--allow girls and women access to equal and high-quality education after pregnancy/birth;
--include reproductive health education in the school curriculum.
