Together, let's give a face to the school perseverance of young people and transform it into a work of art.

As far as we are concerned, it is the perseverance and resilience of our 2nd year students through the pandemic that we
want to show people in our neighborhood. The Eulalie-Durocher school welcomes young adults aged 16 to 21 who wish to
complete their secondary education. Located in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district, this school is often perceived as a second chance school, that is to say that it allows its students to obtain their secondary school diploma (DES), leading them through following a pre-university program, a technique at CEGEP, or professional training, or even the job market.
The first concrete impact of our project in the neighborhood is to give a platform in images to school perseverance.
This project involves an entire school: its 500 students, teachers, stakeholders and staff. The portraits of students will tell of their pride in having resumed their studies and their lives in hand. This installation will inform onlookers that there is
a generation of young runners who have weathered the two years of the pandemic with resilience. It will confirm to the young people of the neighborhood that there are always options and other possible paths. This is an opportunity for the school to show in images what is happening inside our walls and to promote the daily work of our students and our school team within our
piece.
