“The other side of the medal” is an associative collective bringing together more than 100 solidarity organizations, which advocates for a positive social legacy of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in the fight against exclusion.

We wish to implement an Inside Out project in order to raise the voice of the “voiceless” and highlight the issues around the invisibility of great exclusion in the run-up to the Olympic Games, so that on the contrary the values of solidarity and inclusion supported by Olympism can materialize.

The action consists of displaying portraits of anonymous people in situations of exclusion supported by associations, particularly people in street situations, alongside volunteers acting within our associations

This action is not intended to promote our collective or the member associations, it is centered on the message that the people represented carry, about their life situation and how the dynamics of the Games can be a vector of significant improvement. .

It will be the largest operation to make great exclusion visible in Paris in 2024, at a time when civil society is warning of the significant increase in precariousness and while the City is preparing to organize the largest demonstration of its history and will have the eyes of the whole world turned towards it.

With this operation, we want to ensure that the Olympic celebration can be truly joyful and popular, that its promise of inclusion does not forget the most vulnerable people.
