Organ donation is exposed
A still taboo subject, because it is first and foremost a question of death, the donation of organs and tissues is also and above all the symbol of life being reborn.

It is precisely around this second life offered thanks to the gift of a person and their loved ones that we imagined this project. When the donor consents to organ donation through the testimony of his relatives, a whole human chain unfolds. It is then necessary to act very quickly, with precision, infinite precautions and attention vis-à-vis the relatives of the donor and the recipients awaiting a transplant.
Our team, involved in both organ harvesting and corneal transplants for patients at risk of blindness, wishes with this portrait project to pay tribute to all people in the shadows, who, each at their level, do everything they can to give a sick person hope for a new life.
