Old age, a stretch of the journey in our lives that often scares us, scares us to follow it, and scares us to observe those we love "struggling" along that path. The retirement home, for many a failure... for others a release from further worries.
I too suddenly found myself in this reality. Then, little by little, I learned and they taught me to know this new world. It's not an easy reality, touching suffering scares me more than death. These photos aim to bring out and make known their faces, their eyes, their infinite desire to donate.
You enter with the presumption of giving but then you realize you are receiving.
