"Our project will focus on the homeless of Inner City San Francisco. The portraits will be displayed throughout the city for all to see. I have gotten photos together from my friend and professional photographer, Sean Desmond, who has created a photo workshop for the marginalized inner city residents of San Francisco, as well as my own photos of those I have met who are living and working on the streets. Most importantly I have lent cameras to my two friends Blue and Bernard who live in the alleys off of the very district our group action will focus on. They have contributed photos of their ""neighbors"" living on the streets with them to the project.
Our aim is that the photos act as humanizing advertisements for the forgotten. Ideally these portraits will give a voice to the voiceless, offering the passerby an opportunity to see the overlooked and oft forgotten in a new and dignifying light."
