In recognition of Taiwan’s long-standing collaboration and participation over the past 17 years, the Avignon Off Festival has specially invited Taiwan to be the “first guest country” in 2024, showcasing Taiwan’s diverse culture through art.

To celebrate this significant event, Centre Culturel de Taïwan à Paris(CCTP) has partnered with Plan b.Inc to curate the “Taiwan Portrait Photography Project — Happy Together, Taiwan OFF Avignon.” This exhibition was held at the Village du Off, covering the buildings with hundreds of Taiwanese portraits, using everyday scenes and diverse faces to highlight Taiwan's multicultural values.

Following the success in Avignon, Plan b.Inc began planning to bring the project back to Taiwan. The aim is to continue promoting and raising awareness among the Taiwanese public about this unique initiative.

The “Taiwan Portrait Photography Project — Happy Together in Taiwan” exhibition will take place at ParkUp GT, a brand under Plan b.Inc dedicated to the revitalization of urban spaces. By hosting the exhibition at ParkUp, we hope to transform unused spaces in the city into vibrant exhibition venues, creating a micro-exhibition experience for all.
