The EASDA is an art and design school that is in a situation of deterioration and exclusion from the city. This supposes a series of serious difficulties in the tasks of learning and teaching. We make a great effort giving value and importance to artistic teachings. Over 20 years behind Alicante, the school has welcomed great design talents. The request for a new school, after years and years, always falls on deaf ears. And despite the aging state and the current urban exclusion, the higher artistic education of our school community stands out for the excellent educational results and the careers that EASDA graduates have forged. The people who are within the educational community want to communicate to the people who see us from outside it, through this mural intervention project, the existing problems to inhabit the school. Using our portraits as a manifestation of empowerment, the project called "How the Worms see us" appeals to dignity to learn and educate at the EASDA, renovating the building in the same location or in another in the city of Alicante. Students are truly the main group affected, despite the fact that teachers do everything possible to optimize education, in the end we all live without the means or sufficient infrastructure. And that influences the results of the school's projects compared to other schools with all the facilities at their disposal. You cannot continue working and studying in a place where coexistence with infestations of worms, termites, wasps' nests in classrooms, leaks, extreme heat or cold, marginalizes us in the Alicante desert.
