This project was developed by a group of aspiring English teachers (methods students) at UIC in collaboration with teachers in Chicago. The project, Chicago Teachers: Inside Out, is ongoing and aims to turn Chicago schools inside out and present a positive view of teachers in the community by posting larger-than-life teacher portraits in the community near schools. The portraits are accompanied by statements written by the teachers about teaching and learning.
Become a Group Leader by organizing an Inside Out Action in your community. Gather 50 or more participants that stand behind a message you are passionate about and paste your portraits in your community.
