Bel Air students believe that respect can change the world and that the change could start with just one smile. We want to build understanding and respect at our school first and hope that our actions and smiles will create a chain reaction through our community and the world.
Bel Air's photography club students have captured a smile from every student at Bel Air to display in the halls of the school and will paste 75 of these portraits on the sidewalks leading to the school, hoping to pass their smiles on to the community and begin the chain reaction of respect and positivity.
From our students:
"Smiles are contagious. We want others to feel like they are part of us and we are part of them when they see our smiles. "
"Even though we are all different, we are beautiful and we deserve respect."
"We can change the world by being kind and caring to everyone. The change starts with one smile."
"Everyone has feelings. Sometimes we forget that. When you feel positive, you want to give someone else that feeling. Respect is a gift."
"We hope our project gives everyone hope, confidence and happiness and we really hope it makes you smile."
Become a Group Leader by organizing an Inside Out Action in your community. Gather 50 or more participants that stand behind a message you are passionate about and paste your portraits in your community.
