I have been leading a project called Rue d'Algérie for almost 3 years (in May 2023)
This project is composed, to date, of more than 500 black and white portraits, and it is always growing.

The name of this project, is taken from the place where the first 20/30 portraits were made at the end of the first confinement in May 2020 (Rue d'Algérie 69001 LYON), this name challenges and pushes us to question ourselves, it may seem community, for those who don't know this street in Lyon, but when you discover the project, it's just the opposite.

This project promotes the diversity and unity of our 69 (Lyon and its surroundings).
Each portrait is accompanied by the sign 69, made in the manner of an American gang sign, and which has the role of claiming its belonging to Lyon and to the project.

There are no access limits to this project, I have done portraits of children from 5 years old, to older people of almost 70 years old, from all personal and professional backgrounds.
They are always the ones who contact me to participate, and I never approach or search for profiles, I want this project to remain accessible to everyone.

After almost 3 years of existence, I am very proud of the fact that the people of Lyon, who are beginning to know about this project, want to take part in it to show their attachment to Lyon, and to prove that it is always possible to meet around a simple and just cause, living together.

I'm already sticking some of these portraits in the street, but also indoors, like recently in a fine arts building where I was able to stick 300 portraits for a 5-day exhibition (only).
