By this action we want:
- Discover different cultures and forge friendships,
- Promote exchanges with twinned towns,
- Promote European construction ("Europe, do you stick to it?"), Particularly from a cultural point of view.

We believe in:
- Promoting exchanges between the twin sisters,
- Fostering friendship and understanding between different cultures,
- Promoting the building of Europe.

Acigné is located near Rennes, France. We are twinned with Wachtendonk (near Düsseldorf, Germany) and Seica-Mare (near Sibiu, Romania). Every two years we take turns going to France or Germany (ditto in Romania).

The coming of our German friends is a good opportunity to strengthen our friendships and build together an artistic operation in the city. We take this opportunity to involve our Romanian friends.

At the beginning of April photos of Acignolais were taken in Acigné, of Germans in Wachtendonk, and of Romanians in Seica-Mare. On May 31, the photos will be exhibited on the Place de la Mairie and then pasted in the city by the French and the Germans, together.

Acigné is a small town located near Rennes, Brittany, France. We have a twin sister in Germany (Wachtendonk) and another in Rumania (Seica-Mare). Every two years, either french are visiting the germans, or the germans are coming to France (idem for our Romanian friends).

This year at the end of may our german friends are coming to Acigné, a good opportunity to strengthen our friendship and build together an artistic action into the town. Our Romanian friends are taking part as well.

At the beginning of April, photographs of Acignolais have been taken in Acigné, portraiture of germans in Wachtendonk, and romanians in Seica-Mare. On the 31st of May, the posters will be displayed on the town hall square. Then they well be pasted into the whole city French and Germans together.

This action is led by the twinning committees of Acigné-Wachtendonk and Acigné-SeicaMare with the help of Imag'in Acigné, Acigné photo club. All residents were invited to participate.
