“These amazing opportunities create an emotive reason for students to engage in the arts, which research has demonstrated to significantly promote academic achievement. Collaborating with Turnaround Arts: California, and the contribution of the Inside Out Project, now more than ever provides our students with the opportunities to make their indelible mark within their Montgomery community and beyond.”
-- Monica Ruiz, Principal

Turnaround Arts: California hosted Inside Out Project Group Actions to support its newest cohort of schools in making bold, visual statements about their commitment to leveraging the arts for educational equity. From California’s southern border to its northern coast, first-year #TACalifornia teams transformed campus walls into celebratory messages of creativity, community, and identity — bringing the magic of teaching and learning through the arts from the inside… out!
